*This means you can download the files and print them where ever you prefer but I also have an option to set up printing through your gallery and you can order them directly from me, printed from a professional printer which will guarantee quality prints.

No. I am an on-location photographer which means most of my sessions will take place outside.
If an illness or situation prevents your photo session from taking place, you may reschedule your session at least 24 hours prior to your shoot without penalty. Should you fail to give 24 hours notice, or decide to completely cancel the shoot, the deposit is forfeited and will not be refunded. Photographer reserves the right to reschedule due to illness, weather, equipment malfunction, or other circumstances beyond their control.
We live in Nebraska so unfortunately unpredictable weather happens more often than not. I try to keep an eye on the forecast and will contact you if I think we should reschedule. If the forecast is not looking how you imagined for your pictures then please contact me ASAP and we will talk about rescheduling. You will not lose your deposit for rescheduling due to weather.
Absolutely! I have an extensive list of locations I’ve shot at before in both Lincoln and Omaha and some surrounding areas. Shoot me a message if you need location or outfit help.
Besides outfits, props, payment, and yourself, I recommend bringing along your makeup to touch up, a water bottle because you’ll be so thirsty from talking/smiling so much, bug spray (depending on the season we’re shooting in) and a pair of walking shoes if the shoes you’re wearing in the photos are impractical for a lot of walking.
Please bring props! Play an instrument? Bring it! Are you obsessed with Harry Potter? Bring the books! Do you play a sport? Bring your uniform and gear! Bring whatever you love and represents your high school journey and we’ll include it.
I highly encourage you to bring along one parent/guardian to help with changing/hold props/and in some cases drive us around. I have found that bringing a parent along will help you feel more at ease, and will help us to take better photos. After all your parents have known you all your life, so I really value their input.
It is your session so you are welcome to bring as many other people along as you like but please keep the phrase “too many cooks in the kitchen” in your mind as you determine what’s best for your session. Too many opinions can get overwhelming and can eat into your time unintentionally.
Yes. I’ve had clients add their brother, sister, mother, father, boyfriend, girlfriend, etc. But keep in mind that these images are not “extra” images that will be added to your gallery. These images will be a part of your 60-100* image gallery. And must be done within your session time frame, extra time will not be added to allow for other photos. *Depending on session choice.
Session times vary depending on package purchased. Your session time begins when the session was scheduled to start, not when you arrive. If you are late you will be cutting into your shoot time.
I understand that it happens. But please make every effort to be on time. I am typically scheduling shoots around when light will be best and even being 15 minutes late will cut into our ideal light time significantly. And if you are late that will cut into your total session time. Sessions will not be extended to make up for lost time.
You can wear them but you unless you have glare-free glasses most of your photos will have a un-removable glare. If possible, remove the lenses from your frames. This is the best solution. Or you can take your glasses off for your pictures. Please understand that I can only do so much with posing and lighting – you may still have reflections if you leave your lenses in,
Every photo will have edited colors/contrast/clarity so it’s looking its best. Beyond that I do minor touch ups during editing for skin imperfections. If you would like additional edits beyond that there will be an extra fee per image.
Once we’ve booked the shoot you can either send me locations you want to shoot at or just send me a message with what look you like best and chances are I’ll have suggestions for locations that will fit best.
If there are any costs/fees associated with the location you have chosen for your session, you, the client, will be responsible for those fees.
Session remainder must be paid at the end of the session in either cash, check, or through PayPal*. (Written out to Hannah Badeer). You will not receive the images or a preview until final payment has been made. *additional fee
Images will be kept on file for a time of (1) one year. After one year, all images will no longer be available. Please plan accordingly and save your images to your computer or back-up drives.
Each photo will have a number at the end of the image title (ex. SeniorHannahBadeer213). If you want me to submit the photo to the school for you than please send me a Facebook message or email (no text messages please) with that number, your full name, and high school by my deadline date. My deadline date will be posted on my photography page at least 1-2 months in advance giving you plenty of time to send me the image.
It will take approximately 2-4 weeks before your gallery is ready for view. I like to allow for enough time to ensure that I can spend enough time editing your final images. I will send you an e-mail to the address on file letting you know that your gallery is ready for view/download when it’s complete.
Your online gallery will be available for a minimum of 8 months. But please download your photos as soon as I send you the gallery. If you do not get the photos downloaded and saved to your computer in that 8 month window and your gallery expires there will be a fee for having to redo and resend a new gallery.
Download the photos from your gallery onto your computer and then upload them to a print site of your choice. (Recommendations include: mpix.com, Rockbrook Camera in Lincoln and Omaha). PLEASE NOTE: If you get your photos printed at a Walgreens/CVS/Walmart they will look terrible, blurry, and the colors will be off. Please chose a high quality printer the first time.
